Last week, the poker fans around the world and in L.A city were treated to a spectacle at the card player tour Wynn L.A even. The event by all means surpassed all expectations attracting a huge crowd of entrants and audience from all over the world. Theevent I of the inaugural card player tour Wynn L.A poker tour attracted a total of 793 entrants summing to a prize pool of $384, 605. This was a record breaker in the history of the tournaments.
Theevents $550 buy in no limit hold’em by far passed the $250, 000 expected guaranteed prize pool by more that $130, 000. After three days of a spectacular display of tactics from all the players in the tournament, who included poker pros from around the world, only 105 of the entrants remained. The remaining players were ready to battle it down for the first prize that amounted to $73, 074. At the end of the day some of the notable players who were still standing included Eric Baldin, Christina Lindey amongst a few more others.
A number of recognizable pros also managed to make their way down to the last group of player and to the final table of play. They included theBrent Hanks, the 2012 World Series of poker bracelet winner, Matt Berky and Jimmy Tren. When the day finally came to an end, it was Daniel Sindelar and Steven Hilltz who made a deal for a heads up that saw Hiltz bow out of the games taking home a total of $61, 141 after finishing a second position. Finishing in a first position was definitely none other that Daniel. He not only took home a cash prize of $60, 00, he also took a trophy and 456 card player of the year point.
